Hugh Horatio Phillips

Hugh Phillips is a passionate faith-based children’s author and creative visionary dedicated to nurturing young minds through stories that inspire spiritual growth, imagination, and moral strength. His work emphasizes biblical values and brings powerful lessons to life in fun, relatable, and impactful ways for children and families.

Guided by the scriptures, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6) and “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans” (Proverbs 16:3), Hugh writes with the mission of planting seeds of faith and wisdom into the next generation.

As the founder of Fat Leg Publishing House, a family-owned creative company, Hugh collaborates with his wife and children to produce books that are not only entertaining but also spiritually enriching. Every story is a family effort—his writing is inspired by the Holy Spirit, his wife proofreads, his baby approves the artwork, his oldest daughter illustrates, and his middle daughter often serves as the main character.
