Levi Brendle

My name is Levi Brendle, and I write at the intersection of Christian faith, history, and culture. Growing up as a missionary kid instilled in me a lifelong love for Scripture and prayer, which I later pursued academically through a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University. Today, I live out my faith as a member of the Episcopal Church, alongside my wife, Heidi, our daughter, Magnolia, and a lively household of pets.

My writing seeks to bridge the riches of Christian tradition with the pressing questions of modern life. On my Substack, Between Cross and Culture, I explore how the gospel speaks into contemporary culture through reflections on theology, art, philosophy, and current events. I am especially drawn to helping readers discover the beauty and depth of prayer, the wisdom of church history, and the relevance of faith in an age often marked by distraction and disconnection.
