I’m Sharon Maynard, M.S., SLP, TSSLD, a speech-language pathologist, writer, and educator with over a decade of experience working with children, teens, and families. As both a professional and a parent, I’m passionate about creating resources that celebrate neurodiversity, promote equity, and give young readers the tools they need to thrive.

My books blend my clinical expertise with my personal journey, offering practical guidance with compassion and cultural awareness. When I’m not writing, I’m developing educational materials, partnering with schools and families, and advocating for inclusive learning spaces. My mission is simple: to empower voices, honor stories, and provide resources that make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their communities.
