Mario Lavarello

Mario Lavarello is an independent researcher and creator of the General Theory of Systems of Reality (TGSR), a transdisciplinary framework developed to explain how complex systems preserve their coherence under conditions of historical perturbation. His work integrates philosophy, systems theory, history, and political science to identify structural principles governing the formation, consolidation, and persistence of knowledge systems. His publications include General Theory of Systems of Reality (TGSR), Rome and the Maghreb, the General Theory of Systems of Western Knowledge (TGSCO), and the TGSR Research Papers series, which extends the theory into empirical applications in the historical analysis of the medieval Mediterranean.
