Rashida Williams-Perkins

Rashida Williams is a 27-year-old wife, mom, and artist who writes and illustrates with heart and faith. A mother of three, two sons on earth and a daughter in heaven, her family’s journey inspires her creativity and keeps her rooted in God’s love. Married to a youth pastor, she and her husband live in Denver, where they serve their community and raise their boys with joy and faith.

Born in Tulsa, Rashida has illustrated six published books and also creates expressive oil paintings. Her passion is making fun, faith-filled books that introduce children to God in creative ways. She believes Christian stories can be both meaningful and exciting, with artwork that captures kids’ imaginations and opens the door for conversations about God and the Bible.

When she’s not writing, painting, or illustrating, Rashida enjoys spending time with her family and encouraging her boys to see the beauty of God in everyday life.
