Karen Dubin

Dr. Karen Dubin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, educator, and author with over 25 years of experience in psychotherapy, supervision, and organizational leadership. She holds a PhD in Social Work and has served as adjunct faculty at Columbia University, NYU, Adelphi University, and Hunter College.

As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of the SWEET Institute, Dr. Dubin has trained thousands of clinicians and leaders nationwide, focusing on the integration of neuroscience, attachment, and real-world clinical practice.

Her work focuses on helping people develop the awareness to see themselves clearly, and the bravery to stay present long enough to create real change.

Through her writing, Dr. Dubin helps readers move beyond surface-level understanding into deeper transformation—bridging the gap between who we have been shaped to be and who we are capable of becoming.
