W. H. Bailey

I’m William H. (Billy) Bailey, a husband, father, and old Army paratrooper with thirty years in IT and technical writing. These days, I write stories about faith, family, and the great people of southern West Virginia. Since birth, my life has been shaped by the people and places in these old hills.

I do most of my writing before and after work, so sometimes, even I don't know what the heck I'm trying to say.

When I'm not writing, I enjoy time with my wife, Kathy; my daughter, Rhyan; my son-in-law, Caden; and a handful of close friends.
