David W. Hegg

David W. Hegg has served as pastor/teacher of Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, California, since 2009 and has been in pastoral ministry for over four decades. He holds degrees from The Master’s University, Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, and Westminster Theological Seminary, and teaches preaching and theology at The Master’s University. A frequent conference speaker and published author, his works include The Obedience Option, When My Heart is Faint, Foundations of Faithfulness, The Well, Appointed to Preach, and The Privilege of Persecution. His first non-fiction work–The Joanie Stories–invites young readers into the adventures of homesteaders in 1870 and Calvin’s Cross presents a rousing fictional adventure for older readers set in the days of Henry VII and John Calvin. David and his wife, Cherylyn, have been married for 48 years and enjoy life with their three married children and five grandchildren.
