Elizabeth Lett

Elizabeth Lett is a writer, retired chaplain, and the founder and publisher of Fig Leaf Tales Ink, an independent imprint dedicated to stories that uplift, inspire, and gently teach. She holds a Master’s degree in Theology and Counseling, completed a Clinical Pastoral Education residency at a Level 1 trauma hospital, and earned a certification in Women’s Leadership from Yale University.

With a career spent offering compassion and presence during life’s most tender moments, Elizabeth now brings that same heart to the world of children’s literature. Her debut picture book, Dula, Fig, And the Wisdom of Old Sycamore, is a thoughtful tale of kindness, emotional growth, and wonder. When she’s not writing or publishing, she enjoys traveling, exploring used bookstores, and sharing her belief in the quiet strength found in every well-told story.

Elizabeth resides in Illinois with her puppy Don Quixote.
