Allison J. Taylor

Allison J. Taylor is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and strategist who founded her first company at 24. Her global life experience spans technology innovation, cybersecurity, and industrial transformation, and she has a natural passion for learning and empowering others to succeed.

A firm believer in lifelong growth, Allison initiated and co-authored "Power Up Product Management: A Quick Start Guide" (Routledge) together with Chris Naunheimer, after coaching new product managers and never finding the right actionable set of content to make them successful. The two collaborated closely to create the Quick Start Guide in hopes of bringing more subject matter experts -- chemists, physicians, industrial engineers, etc.-- into the field to “build and sell” trustworthy, ethical products and solutions. As it turned out, leadership teams equally appreciated the book, even those who had already directed product groups. Learning knows no boundaries! And practically everyone is a builder.

Allison is Founder and CEO of Thought Marketing LLC and co-founder of AI competitive messaging start-up Discerna. She has brought more than 20 cybersecurity and technology solutions and services to market, representing billions in revenue, across 35 countries. Allison partners with technology leaders at multinational corporations, institutions, and ventures on strategy, growth, and the art of framing ideas to move people forward. At Stanford University, she serves on the Board of Advisors for the Emergence Health Industry Collaborative to shape innovation ecosystems that improve human lives.
