Kimba Allison

Kimba Allison is a New Zealand author and ceramic artist. Living on a small farm with her family and horses, she finds endless inspiration in her two dogs, Rocket and Turbo — the real-life duo behind her debut picture book, Turbo Joins the Pack: A Turbo and Friends Adventure.

With playful rhymes and soft watercolor illustrations, Kimba’s stories explore themes of family, friendship, and the joy (and chaos!) of life with animals. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her in the ceramics studio — usually with Rocket and Turbo close by as her loyal but distracting “studio helpers.”
