Bill Blizzard

Bill Blizzard is a novelist, nonfiction author, and architect whose writing explores the intersection of faith, history, human behavior, and the places that shape our lives.

His career in architecture taught him to look beneath the surface of things — to see how structures, spaces, and communities reveal the values of the people who create them. Years of travel in Europe deepened his fascination with history, culture, religious traditions, and the stories that remain embedded in places long after the people who built them are gone.

Those interests find their way into his fiction. His novels combine international settings, historical research, moral questions, and the architecture of both buildings and belief. His nonfiction explores the history and interpretation of religious ideas from the perspective of a layman seeking to understand how inherited beliefs continue to shape the modern world.

Blizzard is the author of The Adriatic Reckoning, Shared Vengeance, Reclaiming Humanity, and The Reunion of '56, as well as a privately printed collection of family recipes and memories.

He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, Pat, and continues to write, travel, cook, and explore the connections between people, places, history, and belief.
