Judd Allen

Dr. Judd Allen earned his Ph.D. in Community Psychology from New York University and is President of the Human Resources Institute, LLC, a firm dedicated to research, publishing, and consulting on supportive cultural environments. For more than three decades, he has helped government, business, and community organizations achieve lasting, positive cultural change.

Dr. Allen is the author of over 50 books, articles, and training resources on wellness and culture change. His most recent works—Cultivating Connections, I Flourish, Better Together, and We Flourish—offer practical tools for proactive mental health, resilience, and building supportive environments in workplaces, families, and communities.

He also directs the Healthy Culture Research and Education Foundation and serves on the editorial board of the American Journal of Health Promotion. His past roles include serving on the National Wellness Institute’s Board of Directors, working as a Senior Research Analyst at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and advising the Vermont Governor’s Council for Physical Fitness and Sports.

Outside of his professional work, Judd is an avid marathoner, recently completing his 41st New York City Marathon. He divides his time between Burlington, Vermont, and Montreal, Quebec.
