Guri Dhindsa

Guri Dhindsa is a storyteller and professional video editor from the Sangrur district of Punjab. Since 2012, he has been a prominent figure in the film industry, with his editing work gracing feature films like Jind Mahi, Shareek 2, and Lekh, as well as the popular 295-episode television series, Kamli Ishq Di.

After years of weaving together the narratives of others on screen, the urge to create his own stories became undeniable. Known for an 'action mode' approach to ideas, Dhindsa channeled this creative energy into his writing, swiftly transforming a concept into his debut novel, Gulabi Dreams. His second novel is Footprints of Breaths (Saahan Diyan Pairaan).

Dhindsa believes his journey from editor to writer was guided by a force beyond his own planning and continues to explore compelling narratives rooted in the contemporary Indian landscape.
