I've always been a voracious reader. When I retired a few years ago, after a stint in the Marine Corps and a lifetime in public safety, I began to write short stories for my own enjoyment and entered local writing contests. I eventually began to think seriously about writing a novel for publication. After several online courses and with the help of friends, "Clay's Journey," my first book, became a reality. I currently have two stories in progress, "Forever Amelia" and "The Captain and her Mate." I hope to publish them in 2026.
