Savannah Powell

Hello! My name is Savannah Powell. I am a stay-at-home mom to four lovely kiddos. I homeschool my eight-year-old and six-year-old daughters while juggling my three-year-old son. My oldest daughter is 11 years old and she is profoundly autistic. She is the reason I am able to have the titles of author, illustrator and independent publisher. My favorite and most important title is "mom". I have always dreamt of being a published author since the days I would write in my diary as a little girl. I just didn't feel like I had anything real to say before her. It seemed too far to reach and it would forever be left the daydreams of that little girl. Audra is non-verbal and cannot speak a single word and because she has no words, it has finally given me some. She is the catalyst for success and growth in my life but I would give it all back if it meant a shot at an ordinary life for her. Even though the author title is cool, being a good mom will always be my biggest achievement. It is all for them and for the glory of God.
