Emily Sarratt writes for those like her, who dream of something more, and search for meaning in a world that’s forgotten magic. She believes you don’t have to be loud to be powerful, certain to be true, or finished to be real.

She thrives in nature, surrounded by trees, green fields and hawthorn-decorated hedgerows. It's where she lives in the Royal County of Meath (Ireland) with her husband, two small children and Otto their large fluffy mutt. She can usually be found daydreaming out the window with a cup of tea at her elbow, a black biro in her hand and an empty chocolate wrapper nearby.

She writes books she wants to read; with magic you can believe in, romance that makes your heart ache and swell, and characters who feel like real people you want to root for.

Romance fantasy is her favourite genre, to write in and read. Why? Well magical love of course, who doesn't want that?
