About The Ban, SciFiBloc wrote on Facebook and Instagram:
“... Conclusion: With The Ban, Tanja Reize achieves an unusual fusion of two genres. Those who associate the combination of erotica and science fiction with shallow scenes in dark bedrooms will be surprised: here, not only do alluring, explicit passages unfold, but also a well-conceived, utopian vision of the future. The author shows that sexuality is as much a part of human existence as the pursuit of truth, understanding, and freedom. The dual search, for the secret of the space project and for one’s own identity, lends the story depth. The Ban is therefore not a typical sci-fi novel, but a bold crossover that, through linguistic precision, compelling ideas, and vivid imagery, opens up a new perspective. And in the end, one realization remains: even in a perfect utopia, the mystery between two people is a secret that no AI and no program will ever be able to fully explain.”
