Filip Ninov was born on January 26, 1974, in Skopje, North Macedonia. A lifelong explorer at heart, he found his freedom early in the rhythm of two wheels. After completing high school in Skopje, he moved to Sochi, Russia, where he earned his university degree and spent 15 formative years, immersing himself in a new culture while nurturing his passion for cycling and the outdoors.
In 2004, Filip returned to North Macedonia and made his home on Mount Vodno, a place where nature and solitude fueled his love for endurance, reflection, and personal growth. For the next 15 years, he explored not only the rugged trails of Vodno but also the scenic routes of neighboring Greece, often journeying long distances on his bicycle, chasing sunrises and personal clarity.
Now living in Canada, Filip continues his cycling adventures, documenting his experiences through poetry and photography. His creative work blends physical endurance with emotional depth, capturing the quiet strength and spiritual reward found on the road. Whether climbing steep hills or writing verse, Filip celebrates the sweet struggle that defines both his rides and his life.
