Marla Gale

Marla Gale started writing in high school where she won the upper school award for poetry. She has been published in various publications regarding social and political injustice. Always an advocate for the underdog, she cares for animals and seniors in her two businesses.

In her most recent book, Ms. Gale deals with some difficult life topics such as miscarriage, the loss pf a once in a lifetime love and an aging population in a nursing home. She uses beautiful imagery to guide us through these difficult topics and it is startling imagery that brings her work to life.

Currently she is working on a picture book which will highlight her love for animals and nature.
