Torry Weatherspoon

Torry Weatherspoon is an Army veteran, a proud father, and a rising voice in urban fantasy and supernatural fiction. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he brings the soul of the South into every page, infusing his stories with rich culture, gritty emotion, and the kind of depth only real life can teach.

He is the creator of The Crescent Flame Saga, a powerful new series that blends werewolf lore, Black love, ancestral magic, and epic battles for destiny. His debut novel, Flame in the Crescent Moon, reflects his deep roots in New Orleans culture, R&B and hip-hop influences, and a love for character-driven stories inspired by authors like Zane, Laurell K. Hamilton, and Kelley Armstrong.

When he’s not writing or studying, you can find him vibing to music, watching some of his favorite tv shows and movies, or building the next chapter of his world, one plot twist at a time.

He believes in writing stories that are unapologetically bold, beautifully Black, and emotionally real.
