Bill Townsend is a serial entrepreneur (Lycos, Geocities-now Yahoo!, Deja News-now Google, sixdegrees-now LinkedIn, and Ontheline) who has been a figure in the Internet and technology industries since 1995. He has appeared on NBC Nightly News, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, CNBC's Treasure Detectives. He has been a featured lecturer at Harvard University, Baylor University, University of Texas, Loyola Marymount University, SIMBA, Digital Hollywood, SXSW, and TEDx. He has been published in Harvard Business Review and is the author of two books Yes You Can! and Machine Rule.
