Writing has always been more than storytelling for me—it’s survival, expression, and the search for meaning. I have lived with chronic pain since birth, along with bullying and mental struggles that made the world hard to understand. Out of those experiences, I built Phoenix Flame: First Flame—a world where suffering is not meaningless, where grief can forge strength, and where even despair can spark hope.
Alasthra Phoenixtra, the heart of this story, is a reflection of myself. He suffers not because he deserves to, but because he carries burdens so others do not have to. He finds loyalty in trusted friends, something I never had. He searches for love, something I have struggled with. And, ultimately, he chooses to live—not for himself, but so others’ suffering may end.
This book is more than fantasy—it’s my way of making sense of things. If you’ve ever felt alone, misunderstood, or burdened with pain, I hope these pages remind you that you are not alone.
