Mark Whittaker is an English author with a fascination for horror, the supernatural, and the hidden edges of human psychology. His debut novel, 808, blends ghostly atmospheres with a gripping modern mystery inside a forgotten radio station. Away from writing, Mark is an electrical and mechanical engineer who loves upcycling, restoring old items, and giving them new life.
A lifelong music fan, he collects vinyl records — with Queen and Pink Floyd always on rotation — and enjoys exploring historic towns, cities, and landscapes with his wife, Shelagh, in their motorhome. His favourite destination is Italy, whose beauty, food, and people often inspire his writing. Mark is currently working on his next novel, an atmospheric horror set in Venice.
