Ashley B. Stewart

Ashley B. Stewart is an author, trusted coach, facilitator, and advisor who has guided more than 2,000 executives across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As CEO of The Corvian Group, Ashley designs leadership development and organizational transformation solutions that deepen self-awareness, interrupt unconscious patterns, and help leaders move into greater alignment with their values, vision, and power.

Ashley brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of leadership, equity, and systems change. He served as Senior Leadership Advisor at McKinsey & Company and Executive Director of Talent and Organizational Development for Baltimore City Public Schools, where he supported 11,000 staff in cultivating a culture committed to eliminating racial disparities in student outcomes. His earlier roles include strategic leadership at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Johns Hopkins University, and the U.S. Department of State.

Ashley’s approach is shaped by his training in depth psychology and group relations and anchored by his certifications in Courageous Conversations About Race™, MBTI, EQ-i 2.0, and the Leadership Circle Profile™. He earned degrees from Morehouse College, Harvard University, The Broad Center, and Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.
