Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Gerry Anderson emigrated to Canada in 1983. Though Canada is home, Ireland will always have a special place in her heart. She and her husband make frequent visits to Ireland to visit family and to enjoy the spectacular rugged scenery there. The novels "Once Upon a Secret in Cilldowning" and "The Get-To-Know-Becky List" are set in Ireland. The stories in Gerry's third book, "The Woman Across The Road and Other Short Stories" are set in both Ireland and Canada.
