About the author

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I have a very large family of five half sisters and two half brothers. My family migrated to the US in 1977 from the Philippines. I am the first of my nieces and nephews to be born in the US. I got my associates degree in science from McHenry County College. I took a creative writing class back in high school and then again a few years ago at my local library. I entered a writing competition back in college and I was a runner up to having my short story published in a book format that featured other writers and their short stories. I’m also trying my hand at getting my children’s picture book published. I love to read and write. I've been writing since I was 11 about various fanfic of my favorite shows. When I research a topic, I get various ideas in my head. In high school and college, I wrote my first novella but didn't know where to go from there. My favorite bookstore is Barnes and Noble.
