Susie Sharp

Susie Sharp writes heartfelt women’s fiction shaped by real life, emotional truth, and a deep love of Tuscany.

Her debut novel, Time For Tuscany, was named an RNA Joan Hessayon Award 2026 Contender by the Romantic Novelists’ Association — a recognition for new voices in romantic and women’s fiction.

Susie lived in Tuscany for twelve years, in a mountain home overlooking the Tiber Valley. Those years changed her life. The stillness, the old stone villages, the food, the seasons, the solitude and the extraordinary beauty of the Italian landscape all found their way into her writing.

Her stories are rooted in the belief that women do not stop changing, wanting, loving or beginning again simply because they have reached midlife. She writes about grief, family, second chances, complicated love and the quiet courage it takes to choose yourself after years of holding everyone else together.

Now living in Mid Wales, Susie writes emotionally layered contemporary women’s fiction set between Wales and Italy, with older heroines, real-life struggles, wonderful settings, and romance that arrives with history, tenderness, and a few scars.

Her books are for women who have lived a little, lost a little, loved deeply, and still believe there may be another chapter waiting.
