Rithu Devatha

My name is Rithu Devatha, though I also go by my real name, Greeshma T. M. I grew up in Kerala, India, and now live in London, where I work as a nurse with the NHS in Croydon. Caring for people has always been an important part of my life, but alongside my profession, I discovered another calling—storytelling.

I began by writing simple stories on Facebook, never imagining how many hearts they would touch. Later, I shared more of my work on the Pratilipi app, where my words found a growing community of readers. Writing became not just a passion, but a way to connect, heal, and share pieces of life and imagination.

In time, I published my books—The Hidden, The Little Lantern’s Light and Other Bedtime Wisdom Poems. Each of them carries fragments of my journey, thoughts, and dreams.

When I’m not writing, you’ll often find me reading, which has always been my favorite way to escape and to grow. Both reading and writing keep me inspired, grounded, and connected to the world around me.
