Hello fantasy fans! I am an Army Veteran who happens to be a huge fan of fantasy like a lot of you.

I have been writing various forms of fiction for about 8 years now. I grew up playing D&D and as an adult I am deeply entrenched in Magic the Gathering, so clearly I find fantasy iectremely fascinating. Similar to my fondness for fantasy, I enjoy almost any recreation/depiction of the Roman empire and the political dealing sthat went on there. That said, I have delved into writing short stories centered in a fictional world similar to ancient Rome, steeped in gladiator combat and the political machinations surrounding it.

The characters in this short story series I have here spawns from a board game that I have currently in development. The characters in these stories are gladiator combatants in the game that the players battle, so these stories are basically the lore for each of them. I wanted the players of the game to know why each character they face in the arena is there still fighting and doing their best to defeat them.

There will be a total of 40 short stories that are all interwoven. Characters frrom one story make appearances in another in some form. Sometimes main characters in their own story will be important side characters in another and other times they will be mere mentions in another story still.
