R M van Breda

In the daytime, R. M. van Breda delights in teaching secondary school history and bringing the past to life for the next generation. Her first book, printed on the family printer and bound with staples, was 'The Lizard Who Thought He Was a Dragon'. She has always enjoyed writing as a way to poke fun at herself.

She lives with three ferrets - Loki, Cassie, and Bonnie - and is regularly followed by whatever character wants to be written next. She collects family history artefacts and believes that the best television programme of all time is Father Ted.
