Raizy Goffman

Many years ago while in college at the University of California Berkeley, I had the inspiration for Nile The Crocodile while responding to a class assignment. (It was the only A++ I ever received!) Presently, I am a horse show Judge & Steward at Hunter/Jumper horse shows. I also create equine and canine bronzes, and I have created many perpetual trophies and limited editions. For many years I ran a hunter/jumper training stable and managed horse shows in Southern California. I was an elementary school teacher in the 1970s and 1980s.

Nile is finally in print for children to enjoy and hopefully learn to love themselves and love who they are. The 2nd book in this series, Nile The Crocodile Meets Myrtle The Turtle, is just launching this week! Surprisingly we have now mushroomed into a series - The Adventures of Nile The Crocodile. This new series of rhyming children's picture books with great morals was lots of fun to write!.
