Nick Dawson

I am passionate about using my story to help others. In 1998 my family and I experienced the horrific murder of our dear Simon, who is my identical twin brother. We were 30 years old. I want my book to act as a beacon in Simon's memory - a powerful memoir of murder and Restorative Justice. A book that can help illuminate our story and hence help many people - be they victim, offender, criminal justice practitioner/employee, or anyone who has suffered a similar, related trauma. I often speak publicly about my book and the story - having appeared on radio, television, podcast, newspaper, and recently on the west end stage (Apollo Theatre) along side Michael Palin (patron of a Restorative Justice charity). I have recently featured on BBC TV, ITV, BBC Five Live, Times Radio, Talk Radio Europe, with articles in The Guardian, Mail on Sunday, Daily Express amongst others. I am also an Ambassador for Why Me? - an organisation who do amazing work to promote and raise awareness around RJ. Please get in touch!
