Jake N. Bennett is the creator of the Power of No series, books that make healthy boundaries simple, kind, and doable across real-life domains. The series helps readers stop over-committing, communicate clearly, and stay steady through pushback.
The series begins with The Power of No: How to Stop People-Pleasing, Reclaim Your Voice, and Say 'No' Without Guilt or Conflict, a practical guide to reclaiming your voice without guilt or conflict. It continues with Stop Saying Yes: The Practical Guide to Protecting Your Time and Sanity, a hands-on companion for guarding your time, energy, and peace.
Jake writes for people who care deeply: managers, caregivers, high achievers, and anyone tired of performing at the expense of their peace. His style is clear and compassionate, with ready-to-say scripts, pushback responses, and five-minute practices that rebuild self-trust one decision at a time.

"Jake N. Bennett" is a pen name. Behind it is a longtime life coach, mentor, pastor and ministry worker with 20+ years of counseling and discipleship, including the last twelve in pastoral ministry, helping people move from people-pleasing and blurred boundaries to a grounded sense of identity. He also spent years as a manager at a major corporation, Johnson Controls, giving him a firsthand view of boundaries, burnout, and managing up inside the pressures of corporate life. He writes under a pen name to protect his family's privacy, his wife of eighteen years and their four children, and to keep the spotlight on the work: equipping readers to live with clear conviction, emotional strength, and unapologetic purpose without guilt, fear, or approval-seeking.
