Michael Workman

Michael Workman is a Chicago-based artist, writer, and sociocultural critic. His work has appeared in The Guardian US, Chicago Tribune, Newcity, and WBEZ. He is Director and Editor-in-Chief of Bridge, a nonprofit for publishing and programming. His choreographic writing appears in Propositional Attitudes (Golden Spike Press), Perfect Worlds (StepSister Press), and Notre Dame Review. He has presented work at the MCA Chicago and Neubauer Collegium at UChicago. He is the Fall 2025 Artist-in-Residence at Allerton Park.
