Stefanie Walther

Stefanie Walther, born in Dortmund, Germany, in 1976, has

more than twenty-three years of experience in healthcare.

She studied medicine at the University of Freiburg and

RW TH Aachen, earning a PhD in Ner val Tissue Engineering.

Her career includes working as a plastic and reconstruc-

tive surgeon, founding a digital patient information start-

up, and spending nearly ten years with Boston Consulting

Group in healthcare consulting. For over twelve years, she

has worked at a leading international pharmaceutical com-

pany, spending several years advancing gene and therapies

for blood cancer and in severe immunolog y disorders.

As a cancer thriver, Stefanie also volunteers to support

cancer patients online and through social media. An avid

athlete, she runs marathons, holds a black belt in tae k won

do, and enjoys playing the piano. She is the mother of two

teenage kids.
