Monika C. Schmid

Monika C. Schmid is a graduate pedagogue (Dipl.-Päd., Univ.), school social worker, teacher of social and human sciences – and a mother. For over 20 years, she has supported children, teenagers, and families through challenges, transitions, and small everyday miracles in school and family life.

Born in Romania and living in Germany since 1990, she brings a deep understanding of relationship, change, and education. Her professional journey spans youth welfare, teaching at a vocational school for nursing, and school social pedagogy at a secondary school in Bavaria.

Her latest book, “Help! I Have a Schoolchild!”, is a heartfelt guide for parents – covering homework, hormones, and heartbeats. It’s a practical companion for those who want to support children without losing themselves in the process.

In addition to her educational work, Monika C. Schmid writes poetry, short stories, and nonfiction. Her first book, “Wortorchester”, is a poetic collection full of rhythm, emotion, and depth. Under her creative label WHITEBLOOM ARTworks, she also designs greeting cards and illustrations – with mindfulness, creativity, and heart.

Her guiding principle:

“Relationship is the key – in school, in family, and in society.”
