Hello, I'm C.M. Tapia, a newly minted indie author who writes in the shadows but I promise my sense of humor is delightfully bright. I've always loved to read, so much so that my bookshelves are starting to look like they could collapse under the weight of my TBR pile. My introduction to dark romance came courtesy of Sylvia Day's Crossfire series, and let me tell you, it was like discovering a secret society where the members all whispered sultry secrets in my brain. From that moment on, I knew I'd be addicted. Writing has always been a lifelong companion, even when I doubted I had a story worth telling. For years I stared at blank pages, convinced I'd never be more than a formidable coffee drinker. But recently something clicked. Suddenly the characters in my head wouldn't hush, and I found the confidence to let them speak. Now every new manuscript is a new adventure, and yes I survive on coffee and sheer stubbornness. When I'm not writing you can find me on a beach or reading a book. I'm a horror movie enthusiast and I read obsessively, which let’s be honest , feeds right back into my writing muse. There's something exhilarating about exploring the tension between love and danger, passion and peril.
