James Graham

James Graham was born in Houston, Texas, in 1946 and raised in West Texas where Oil was King. Financial empires were built in the expansive lands of Texas. A graduate of Central High School and Sam Houston State University, he has spent more than five decades building a multifaceted career in real estate, oil, and business development.

Licensed as a real estate broker since 1971, James continues to operate Graham Properties, specializing in buying, selling, and leasing properties across Texas. Over the years, he has led successful ventures in property development, including the conversion and sale of multiple apartment complexes and shopping centers into condominiums. He waded into the risky business of Oil, setting up two companies to drill, operate and produce oil and gas.

His foray into writing was born from a shared passion with his father, a West Texas wildcatter and avid reader. Together, they began crafting a story inspired by their deep connection to the oil and gas industry. Though his father passed away before its completion, James finished the manuscript in 1991 and, after years of reflection, has brought it forward to share with readers today.
