Matthew R. Hallowell

Dr. Matthew Hallowell is a safety scientist dedicated to the vision of eliminating serious injuries and fatalities. As Founder of the Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA), Chaired Professor, and President’s Teaching Scholar at the University of Colorado Boulder, he has built bridges between industry and academia to tackle safety’s most persistent challenges. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers, advised industry leaders worldwide, and is recognized by Stanford University as among the top safety researchers globally. His passion lies in translating science into practical tools that make dangerous work safer.
