Nick McLean

Nick McLean is a history obsessive and military historian. He is the author of the recently released 'A King’s Gamble: The Neville’s Cross Campaign, 1346' and 'Forged in the North'. When he isn’t digging into forgotten battles or tearing apart medieval myths, he runs a successful family business, occasionally works in Education and enjoys playing guitar.

Nick writes history the way he likes it told: vivid, sharp, and with no patience for fluff. He lives in the North East of England with his wife, son and far too many books on medieval warfare.
