Sheila Schroeder is the author of It’s Time to Talk: A Woman’s Guide to Navigating Money Conversations (out December 30), a practical, step-by-step guide that helps women build confidence in financial management and navigate the money conversations that shape careers, relationships, and long-term security. Drawing on decades of experience in finance, she pairs clear guidance and suggested scripts with real-life stories to help women move past stigma and speak about money with clarity and confidence.
Alongside her writing, Sheila serves as a Business Development Consultant and Regional Head of Business Development for the West Coast of a national wealth advisory firm, where she connects clients with the firm’s expertise to build thoughtful, values-aligned financial strategies.
She brings over 25 years of experience in financial services and regularly leads financial literacy workshops, speaks on economic empowerment and financial planning, and coaches individuals on navigating the financial decisions and money conversations that define modern life. She divides her time between the Bay Area and London, where she enjoys running, hiking, cooking, traveling, reading with her book club, and spending time with her post-college twins.
