Bob Carty

Following a long career as a licensed clinical social worker, specializing in addictions treatment and recovery in the Chicago area, I used my experience to write my first novel, entitled The Next Best Time: A Recovery Novel, which is available as a Kindle e-book and paperback book. Currently, I live in Waukesha, WI, with my wife A. F. Whitehouse, the author of the Dana Demeter mystery series. Writing is not only a form of creative expression for me. It is also a pathway to uncover almost forgotten parts of my life. I hope my readers have a similar experience in reading this book.
