Edward C. Jarvis is an executive, entrepreneur, author, and educator who has served as an executive and corporate officer in both public and privately held corporations.

Different industries. Different challenges. One continuing question: What should we discover before we decide?

Throughout his career, Ed has faced consequential decisions where the answer was rarely obvious at the beginning. Again and again, he found that the quality of the decision depended on something that happened first:

THE ACADEMIC FOUNDATION

Ed holds a B.A. from Bridgewater State University and an M.B.A. in International Business and Finance from Suffolk University, with advanced management studies at Dartmouth College.

His academic career included serving as Founding Executive Director of Entrepreneurial Studies and Professor of Business at Suffolk University, and Executive in Residence at Bridgewater State University, where he worked with the next generation of business leaders.

THE REAL-WORLD LABORATORY

His professional experience spans General Electric, international business, entrepreneurship, turnarounds, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, technology, and organizational growth.

He is also an inventor and founded OneXcel™, an officially incorporated company that created and pioneered innovative safety products, including patented technology designed to enhance performance and protection in sports and industrial applications.

Across those experiences, Ed faced consequential decisions when the stakes were high, information was incomplete, and different perspectives mattered.

That combination of academic discipline and real-world experience shaped the thinking behind Executive Discovery.
