Ronald C. Gordon

Born in San Francisco, Ronald Gordon grew up in Houston and Los Angeles. He earned a B. A. degree from UCLA and advanced degrees from the University of Houston and the University of Michigan. As a Teaching Fellow at each of the latter, he taught English Composition and Literature.

After several decades in the corporate world, he returned to teaching English Comp. and Lit. at San Jacinto College and Lone Star College in Houston and at Austin Community College. before retiring in 2022. He and his wife Debby now live in Millsboro, Delaware, where he continues to write.

He is the author of the novel Not Fade Away (2009) and its sequel Yesterday's Gone (2024). His non-fiction work also includes Don'tTell Me Your Wife Like It (2013), a memoir of writing and marketing a first novel. Currently, he is in the early stages of writing Fortunate Son, which will complete his Andy Lerner trilogy.
