Christopher is a learning scientist and systems thinker with over three decades of experience designing transformational training ecosystems across aerospace, defence, and technology sectors.
His current focus lies at the intersection of learning, autonomy, and AI. He is exploring how AI-driven, personalised feedback, delivered through immersive XR environments, can close critical expertise gaps and accelerate decision-making fluency. This focus has culminated in the Becoming Adaptive trilogy and follow-on Beyond Adaptive which, together form a coherent intellectual arc on human adaptivity, collective performance, and the evolution of human–machine teams.
Across the four works, the central argument is clear, in a world defined by accelerating complexity, the decisive advantage is not better tools, but better systems: human, organisational, and increasingly hybrid.
