David Aldred

David Aldred is a fantasy author from Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, and the creative mind behind Eryndal and the Kingdom of Reldad: The Serpent’s Tale — the first installment in an epic five-book series. Drawing inspiration from the boundless imagination of his three children, Lenny, Heidi, and Alby, David weaves tales of adventure, courage, and magic where family bonds run as deep as the mysteries they face.

The eldest of four siblings, with an additional stepbrother, David grew up surrounded by stories and a love for escapism. At 37, he is bringing his lifelong passion for fantasy to the page, crafting a rich and immersive world designed to captivate readers young and old.

When he’s not writing about kingdoms, serpents, and daring heroes, David enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new worlds through books and films — always searching for the next spark of inspiration.
