Lewis Kenneth Ritter

Lew Ritter is the author of Turbulence: Dispatches from the Student Protest at Rutgers 1970 and Hidden in Plain Sight. A lifelong storyteller, Ritter's passion for writing began in middle school and was reinforced during his college years when a letter he wrote to legendary M*A*S*H producer Larry Gelbart led to several months of correspondence and encouragement.

A Rutgers University alumnus and former educator, Ritter draws inspiration from history, human relationships, and the events that shape our lives. For more than four decades, he has developed screenplays, television concepts, and novels while studying the craft of storytelling.

His work includes historical fiction, contemporary fiction, and screenwriting projects, with additional novels and creative works currently in development.
