Patrick J. Meyers is a Houston-based energy executive, author, and entrepreneur with over two decades of success building and scaling companies across the power generation, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. In Tariff Nation, he brings the same strategic insight that has guided Fortune 500 firms, private equity sponsors, and innovative startups to navigate global market shifts.

As Managing Partner of LC Energy Partners, Patrick advises cleantech, power generation, and infrastructure companies on growth, commercialization, and investment strategy. His career includes launching and leading high-impact business units at Sunnova Energy International, Veolia North America, and Bargain Energy, as well as structuring multi-million-dollar energy projects worldwide.

With expertise spanning distributed generation, microgrids, battery storage, and energy-as-a-service, Patrick has worked at the intersection of technology, policy, and market transformation—experience that informs the actionable strategies in Tariff Nation. He holds an MBA in Analytical Finance and Econometrics from the University of Chicago and a BS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from UCLA.

When he’s not advising clients or writing, Patrick enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, cooking and trying new foods, and walking his dogs.
