Shauna Hanus

Shauna Hanus is a children’s pastor, storyteller, and author who believes that stories have the power to open hearts and grow faith. With nearly two decades of ministry experience and a Master of Divinity degree focused on children, youth, and family ministry, she loves helping kids discover that God’s Word is alive, exciting, and meant just for them.

Her first book, King Morphy, became the catalyst that sparked a whole new adventure in writing. Inspired by the antics of her real-life rescue dog, Shauna began weaving together playful, faith-filled stories that help children laugh, imagine, and fall in love with reading—and with God’s Word.

Through her creative ministry brand, Mini Kid Min, she shares devotionals, Bible story books, children’s ministry lessons, and tips for raising kids up in Christ. Each story and resource is crafted to help families grow together in faith.

She believes every story is a seed, and when planted in the heart of a child, it can grow into a lifelong love for Jesus. When she’s not writing or leading kids’ ministry, you can usually find her laughing at King Morphy’s latest antics or dreaming up her next Bible story adventure.
